What kind of testing would you need? My client does have a Channel Manager and I can check with them to see if they would allow testing…… I’m sure there has to be some type of testing platform that is available…….

I also encourage you to post on the Forum on the OpenTravel Alliance. There’s other developers there and you might be able to see what they’re doing and ask questions accordingly.

I’ll stay tuned but I guess at this point we’re not going to be making much progress forward.

You say ” inaccessible and untestable standard” yet ALL the major companies use it.

Expedia,, Venere, Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline,, ……. ALL OF THEM use this OTA Standard. It is very accessible and VERY tested if you ask me.

And then there’s companies you may have heard of — Avis Rent-A-Car, Marriott, Hertz, Hilton, US Airways….. all of these companies ALSO use the OpenTravel Standard.

Hundreds of others, too.

Unfortunately it’s not the easiest thing to navigate, but OpenTravel seems to be the industry standard that they’re using. If we can get Easy Reservations to talk via the Open Travel Standard to a Channel Manager, then we’re good to go!
