Yes, it should. And you shouldn’t have to set anything beside of your email in easyreservations paypal settings.
There 4 places where you can get informations/error messages:
– Support email
– Paypals account email
– Paypal sandbox log
– Paypals sandbox seller account IPN log

And you say in none of these is any information, but the transaction is done in paypal?
