unable to update paid

i am able to make a new reservation in the backend and set the price and set the paid price, so that it’s 100% paid.
if i make a reservation and leave it at 0 when i make the reservation, i can never update it, it always stays at 0% no matter how i try to update it
is there a trick to this? do i have to set chmod for anything?

Im here for the same reason. The last fix created a new bug. I cant add any payments. It shows it when you select edit but as soon as you return to the dashboard its gone.

Please try this fix.
You can install it with the upload function in the premium settings or extract it over FTP to /wp-content/plugins/easyreservations

That seams to be working. Thanks!

yes, it works thank you

this bug has created a way bigger issue then just the payment update function. because of the way the software stores payments it basically overwrites the last payment. in effect you dont record payments, you actually add the new amount to the old amount and record what the client has paid. as a result any edit that was done during this last bug has deleted any payments your client has made. i knew the software had a payment history flaw since the begining so i created a custom note field and added payment details in that area. its impairative that users are made aware of this oversight in design as well as the bug so they can take measures accordingly. clients dont like the idea that you mishandled their money and will be a negative for any business who has now lost this critical data. in the future more testing needs to be done by the developer so these type of catastrophes are avoided. if someone loses payment records it creates a legal issue in most states in the usa.

In theory you’re right, in reality it’s impossible.
I would need over two weeks to fully test the system. If the current version would be bug free and there wouldn’t be new functions in each update it may would be possible to really test it, but If I don’t fix the known bugs fast I loose new clients.
And as I’m just a human there can come new bugs with the fixes. The bug in this thread wasn’t even occurring for me. I could have tested it for years without finding it.
If you multiplicate all possible settings in the plugin with all the possible PHP/mySQL and WordPress versions and all the browsers used you’ll see that I would need a big team of testers to make mentionable tests, but alone it makes no sense to start to test 3-5% of the plugin. So I can only react on bug reports. Or would you like to pay monthly for a testing team? Or will you test it for free again and again for each small update? That’s nothing you can expect for a one time payment of 120€. It’s not even unrealistic, it’s impossible.

I find in average one bug in one of googles services at the day. Let it be that I have to reload the page to search or a mail won’t open. They have to most and best programmers on the world and cant manage to work bug free.
Bug free was a dream back in the 70s thats given up for long. There’s no bug free software.
