Generally each form has to provide the information’s arrival, departure, resource, name and email to the system in any way. Each other field and information is optional.
For arrival and departure the hour and minute fields are optional and can be hidden as well. An alternative to ask for the departure date is to use the billing times field which is a select field to let your guest select the amount of hours, days or weeks he want to stay. It can be combined with the departure time field’s hour and minute to get all required information’s.
The resources can be a select field with an infobox on top of the form showing information’s of the selected one. Or it can be a hidden field because you want a form just for one particular resource.
With adults and children’s fields you get select fields to ask for them. The country field is a select with all countries in english.
With custom fields you can add any type of form element to the form: Text field, text area, select field, radio buttons or a checkbox. The entered or selected information’s get attached to the reservations and can be seen in admin, send in emails and entered in invoices.
Price fields are quite the same but in addition they’re able to change the price of the reservation. You can add the form elements select field, checkbox or radio button to the form which changes the price differently as of the selection. This discount or extra charge can also be multiplied by persons, billing times or both. They can even be conditional to change the price of it by selected resource or by billing time, persons, adults or children’s conditionally of the selected value. Learn more
With hidden fields you can add information’s to the form that will get saved with the reservation but your guest won’t notice and won’t have to select. This can be helpful to make forms just for an event with a fixed date range or for special offer with fixed information’s like amount of persons or the resource. If you add a hidden field you’ll have to delete the related normal field.
The captcha field is to prevent spam reservations by bots with one of these annoying captcha images. It’s not complicated to read and only has four characters. There’s no reported case and it won’t help against humans faking reservations so start using it if you encounter problems of that sort.
Display price will show a live calculated price of the forms inputs. The display error field gives the form the ability to display errors and requirements in the form while filling it out. Without it the multiple reservations feature can’t be used. It should come on the start of the form and you can edit the error message of the box when adding it.
